iSyncr FAQ - Basic
iSyncr lets you sync iTunes songs, albums, artists as well as videos from a PC or Mac with your Android device. iSyncr is two programs in one. A paid app for your Android device and a free app for your computer. This will give you a picture of how iSyncr works.
one is a trial app (1 playlist of 100 songs at a time) with a white theme
one is a trial app with a dark theme
one is paid app removing trial app limits
one is legacy app that still receives updates for old application purchases
Functionally, there is no difference. However, iSyncr for Mac is now a legacy or old version of the application. It is still available on the Play Store and Amazon Store. This way previous purchasers can continue to download the product they purchased and receive app updates.
New purchasers should download iSyncr for iTunes.
Yes, there are other programs that do this; but few that work as consistently, easily and quickly. Very few, if any apps offer the integration with iTunes like iSyncr.
To setup WiFi or USB it should take 20-25 minutes. To setup both WiFi & USB allow 25-30 minutes. If it takes you longer than that, please contact iSyncr support from our Contact us page.
iSyncr is much more than just a simple copy/paste operation. iSyncr will sync your music, playlists, album art, ratings, play counts, podcast bookmarks, and more from iTunes to Android, then keep track of play count, ratings and playlist changes and sync them back to iTunes. *playlist changes are only available with Rocket Player (See also: "Does iSyncr support play-counts?")

iSyncr Trial is available in the Google Play Store as a 14-day trial. If you would prefer to not pay for iSyncr for iTunes to Android, uninstall/reinstall the free trial after 14 days.

Yes! You can reverse sync music from your Android device to iTunes, but this behavior is off by default. Try walking through this tutorial: to reverse sync music into iTunes.
JRT Studio has developed a player, Rocket Player which was developed specifically for iSyncr. This advanced player shows your ratings as you play your songs. Or, you could play through the music player that came with your device or any that are listed iSyncr supported music players.

Unfortunately, Android phones can't play songs with Digital Rights Management. However, all iTunes music (at least in the US) since April 7, 2009 will not have DRM, before that date only iTunes plus music will not have DRM. Audible has an app in the Google Play Store, from which you can download all of your books. iSyncr will not download Audible.com books.
Yes! iSyncr will sync your podcasts. There is also an "Unplayed Audio Podcast" playlist which allows you to sync your unplayed podcasts!
Yes! Both USB and WiFi syncing can be configured to sync only songs with check marks. Show me a tutorial
Nope, when sync'd over USB iSyncr allows customers to sync their iTunes artists, albums, genres, podcasts as well as videos to Android. Over WiFi customers can only sync playlists.
That would be awesome... but the iPhone games aren't compatible with Android. :(
